BR-DEX-11: Third party payment needs an amount

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-DEX-11 means a third party payment on the invoice has no amount. Fix it by entering the amount for that payment, or by removing the payment if it should not be there.

On this page

What it means

A third party payment (BG-DEX-09) in the XRechnung extension must state its amount (BT-DEX-002). In UBL the amount is the PaidAmount inside the cac:PrepaidPayment block, and it must not be empty.

Why it matters

The third party payments are part of the calculation of the amount due. Without the amount the recipient cannot work out what is due, so the invoice fails validation and is rejected.

How to fix it

Open the third party payment on the invoice and enter its amount, with at most two decimals and in the invoice currency. If the block is a leftover or is not really a third party payment, delete it. An amount the buyer has already paid belongs in the paid amount (BT-113) in the invoice totals instead.

The rule as published

Das Element "Third party payment amount" BT-DEX-002 muss übermittelt werden, wenn die Gruppe "THIRD PARTY PAYMENT" (BG-DEX-09) übermittelt wird.
