BR-CO-11: Sum of invoice discounts must equal the discounts

In short

BR-CO-11 means the total of discounts on the whole invoice is not the sum of the discounts listed. Fix it by adding up the invoice-level discounts and using exactly that figure.

On this page

What it means

The invoice states a total of discounts on the whole invoice (BT-107) that is not the sum of the individual invoice-level discounts (BT-92).

Why it matters

The net total is calculated from this sum. If it does not match the discounts listed, the totals do not add up and the invoice is rejected.

How to fix it

Add up the amounts of all discounts given on the whole invoice (not those on single lines) and use exactly that figure as the total of discounts.

The rule as published

Sum of allowances on document level (BT-107) = Σ Document level allowance amount (BT-92).

Business terms: BT-92, BT-107
