In short
Fill in one form and get an e-invoice checked against the selected rules, for the few you send a year. Free preview, then 1 credit (€4.99).
Have a PDF invoice but need Peppol BIS Billing 3.0? Keep the PDF beside Klarbon's form and enter its details yourself, including the electronic addresses. Klarbon marks required fields, writes UBL and checks it against the selected Peppol and EN 16931 rules. Automatic PDF reading is not available yet. Klarbon writes the file; it does not send it. The preview is free; a validated download costs one credit.
How do I convert a PDF to Peppol BIS?
- Keep the PDF beside the form. Enter the seller, buyer, lines, amounts and payment details yourself. Klarbon marks required fields.
- Compare every value with the original. Fill any fields your PDF does not contain.
- Add the electronic addresses. Peppol uses seller and buyer endpoint IDs, each with a scheme from the EAS code list, such as 0208 for a Belgian enterprise number or 0106 for a Dutch KvK number.
- Validate and download. Klarbon writes UBL 2.1 declaring Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 (OpenPeppol) and checks it against the selected rules. One credit unlocks a validated download.
Then how do I send it?
Through a Peppol access point: your accounting software, an invoicing service or a dedicated Peppol provider. Upload the file there and it is delivered to the buyer's access point. Klarbon is not an access point and cannot tell whether your customer is registered.
Where is Peppol required?
| Country | Use |
|---|---|
| Belgium | in-scope domestic B2B invoices must be structured since 1 January 2026; Peppol is usual, with conditions for agreed alternatives (FPS Finance); see the Belgian guide |
| Netherlands | one of the routes for invoicing central government; see the Netherlands guide |
| Elsewhere | check the recipient's format and delivery requirements |
What must I check before downloading?
Seller and buyer with VAT numbers and electronic addresses, invoice number and dates, the buyer reference or order number, each line, the totals and the payment details. A file can pass validation and still contain a wrong amount.
What happens to my PDF?
The PDF stays on your device. The form doesn't upload it; you keep it open beside the form for reference. The details you type are sent to Klarbon to write and validate the file, and they are not kept once the file is returned. See what happens to my files.
What does it cost?
One credit per invoice: EUR 4.99, ten for EUR 29, fifty for EUR 99. The form and the validated preview are free. If no valid file can be produced, no credit is used. See prices.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF invoice to a Peppol invoice?
Keep the PDF beside you and enter its invoice details in Klarbon's form, including the seller's and buyer's electronic addresses. Klarbon marks required fields, validates the Peppol BIS file and charges one credit for the download. Automatic PDF reading is not available yet.
Does Klarbon send the invoice over Peppol?
No. Klarbon is not a Peppol access point. You upload the file to your Peppol provider or accounting software, which sends it.
What is a Peppol electronic address?
The identifier the network routes the invoice to, such as a Belgian enterprise number with scheme 0208 or a Dutch KvK number with scheme 0106. Seller and buyer both need one.
Is a Peppol BIS file enough to meet the Belgian obligation?
A technically valid file alone does not establish legal compliance or recipient acceptance. In-scope Belgian B2B invoices must be structured; Peppol is usual, and FPS Finance describes conditions for agreed alternatives. Confirm the delivery route with your provider.
