What it means
When the seller's country is Denmark (DK) and a company registration number (BT-30) is given, its scheme identifier (BT-30-1) must be exactly 0184, the code for the Danish CVR number. The check fails when the scheme is missing, empty or any other code. It applies whoever the buyer is.
Why it matters
The scheme tells the recipient what kind of number it is looking at. For a Danish seller the registration number has to be the CVR number, so any other scheme means the recipient cannot check the seller in the company register, and the invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
Check the seller's company registration number in your invoicing software. It should be your CVR number, and its type or scheme should be set to DK CVR (0184). If you can only enter the number and not its scheme, ask your software supplier to send 0184 as the scheme.
