What it means
The payment and VAT section of the invoice (ApplicableHeaderTradeSettlement) must not contain SpecifiedFinancialAdjustment, a block for financial adjustments to the invoice. EN 16931 has no field for it. A discount or fee on the whole invoice goes in the discount (BG-20) or charge (BG-21) groups instead.
Why it matters
This rule is a warning, so the file is still accepted. The block is outside the standard, so the recipient's software is not expected to read it. An adjustment that only lives in this block does not reach the recipient's books in a form they process.
How to fix it
Remove the SpecifiedFinancialAdjustment block. If it describes a discount or fee on the whole invoice, make sure that amount is entered as a discount or charge in the normal way, so it counts in the totals. If it only carries other information, add that as an invoice note or send it to the buyer separately.
