What it means
The payment terms contain a PaymentMeansID element, a reference that links the payment terms to one particular way of paying. EN 16931 does not use it. Payment details such as the IBAN (BT-84) belong in the payment means section (BG-16).
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the invoice is still accepted. The buyer's software does not read the reference, so the link it describes is lost. It is worth fixing if the invoice offers more than one way to pay, because then the buyer should find every option in the payment means section.
How to fix it
Remove the PaymentMeansID element from the payment terms. Check that your payment details, such as the IBAN, are filled in the payment means section of the invoice. If the element keeps coming back, check the export settings of your invoicing software.
