What it means
The settlement section of each line (BG-25) must not contain InvoiceReferencedDocument. A reference to an earlier invoice belongs once on the whole invoice, as the preceding invoice reference (BG-3).
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the invoice is still accepted. The standard knows references to earlier invoices only for the whole invoice, so a reference on a line is not read and the recipient will not link that line to the earlier invoice.
How to fix it
Delete InvoiceReferencedDocument from the line. If this invoice corrects or follows an earlier one, add the earlier invoice number once in the invoice-level preceding invoice reference. Many invoicing programmes have a field such as Original invoice or Referenced invoice for this.
