In short

BR-RO-L1015 means the third line of the delivery address (BT-165) is longer than 100 characters. Fix it by shortening that line to 100 characters or fewer, or by leaving it empty.

What it means

The third address line of the place where the goods or services are delivered (BT-165) must not be longer than 100 characters. Spaces count, but extra spaces at the start or end and repeated spaces are ignored. In UBL it is the Line element inside the address line group of the delivery location's address.

Why it matters

Romania's rules for RO e-Factura set this limit and a breach is fatal. The file is rejected and the invoice is not accepted until the line is shortened.

How to fix it

In your invoicing software, open the delivery address on the invoice (sometimes called the ship-to address) or in the customer's record. Find the third address line and shorten it to 100 characters or fewer, or clear it. Delivery instructions such as 'ring twice' do not belong in this field.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Adresa de livrare - Linia 3 (BT-165) este 100. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Deliver to address line 3 (BT-165) is 100.

Business terms: BT-165
