BR-RO-L1014: Delivery address line 2 must be 100 characters or fewer

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-L1014 means the second line of the delivery address (BT-76) is longer than 100 characters. Fix it by shortening that line to 100 characters or fewer and moving anything extra to the first or third address line.

What it means

The second address line of the place where the goods or services are delivered (BT-76) must not be longer than 100 characters. Extra spaces at either end and repeated spaces are ignored before counting. In UBL it is the AdditionalStreetName element in the delivery location's address.

Why it matters

This is a Romanian rule for RO e-Factura and it is fatal. The check fails and the file is rejected, so the invoice is not accepted until you correct it and send it again.

How to fix it

In your invoicing software, open the delivery address on the invoice (sometimes called the ship-to address) or in the customer's record. Cut delivery notes and repeated text down to the address itself, or split it between the first and third address lines. Then create the e-invoice again.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Adresa de livrare - Linia 2 (BT-76) este 100. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Deliver to address line 2 (BT-76) is 100.

Business terms: BT-76
