BR-RO-092: Buyer address needs a city

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-092 means the buyer's address has no city. Fix it by entering the city or town in the buyer's address.

On this page

What it means

The buyer's address must have a city (BT-52). An empty value or one with only spaces counts as missing. In the XML it is cbc:CityName in the buyer's postal address.

Why it matters

Without a city the buyer's address is incomplete, so the invoice cannot be matched properly to the customer. The Romanian rules (CIUS-RO) then reject the file.

How to fix it

Open the customer's record in your invoicing software and fill in the city or town. If the buyer is in Bucharest, the city must be a sector code such as SECTOR2, as BR-RO-101 explains. Check that the city is not only typed into the address line, because the invoice reads the separate city field.

The rule as published

Localitatea Cumparatorului (BT-52) trebuie furnizata. #Buyer city(BT-37) must be provided.

Business terms: BT-37, BT-52
