What it means
Every invoice must contain the payment account identifier (BT-84) when the payment means code (BT-81) is a credit transfer. For payment means 30, 58 or 31 this is the account the buyer pays into, normally your IBAN.
Why it matters
The buyer's software reads the payment details to prepare the payment. When they are incomplete it cannot pay automatically, and the invoice is rejected or left waiting for someone to fix by hand.
How to fix it
Enter your IBAN in the bank details of your invoicing software and export again. If the invoice is paid another way, choose the matching payment means instead of credit transfer.
The rule as published
If the Payment means type code (BT-81) means SEPA credit transfer, Local credit transfer or Non-SEPA international credit transfer, the Payment account identifier (BT-84) shall be present. Business terms: BT-81, BT-84
