BR-CO-19: An invoicing period needs a start or end date

In short

BR-CO-19 means the invoice has an invoicing period with no start or end date. Fix it by entering the period's start date, end date or both, or removing the empty period.

On this page

What it means

The invoice contains an invoicing period (BG-14) but neither its start date (BT-73) nor its end date (BT-74) is filled in.

Why it matters

An empty period tells the recipient nothing about when the goods or services were supplied, which they may need for VAT.

How to fix it

Enter the start date, the end date or both for the period the invoice covers, or remove the empty period if it does not apply.

The rule as published

If Invoicing period (BG-14) is used, the Invoicing period start date (BT-73) or the Invoicing period end date (BT-74) shall be filled, or both.

Business terms: BG-14, BT-73, BT-74
