What it means
Every invoice must contain the country code of the delivery address (BT-80) whenever it gives a delivery address (BG-15). When the invoice gives a delivery address, it must at least say which country the goods went to, as a two-letter ISO 3166 code.
Why it matters
VAT law requires an invoice to identify both parties, and the recipient's software uses these details to match the invoice to a supplier or customer. An invoice that fails this rule is rejected as incomplete.
How to fix it
Complete the delivery address with the country in your invoicing software and export again. If the delivery address is the same as the buyer's address and your software leaves it half filled in, remove the delivery address.
The rule as published
Each Deliver to address (BG-15) shall contain a Deliver to country code (BT-80). Business terms: BG-15, BT-80
